Puzzle

Jason just finished this puzzle last night.

He has so much more patience then I do.

I might have put in two or three pieces, and he did the rest.

Our bathroom is all in a fish theme,

so we glued it together tonight and we are going to frame it

and hang it in our bathroom.

Ready for Christmas

Below is the really neat nativity scene we got

from Niger- it is so cool!

School update

Well, I have my interview on Friday Dec 21st with the department head for the master of arts program at LBC. This is the last step in the process to being accepted into the program. If the interview goes well on Friday, I should be starting Biblical Hermeneutics on Monday, January 14th, 2008. It is crazy, it is coming so fast. I am excited to get started though. I feel like I will learn so much about the Bible.

To all the flossers. . .

So here is a random, strange question. . .
Are you supposed to brush first, then floss,
or floss first and then brush??

Really, I actually want to know. . .

The anti-green thumb

This is a testament to my complete lack of ability to keep plants alive.

Look at this poor thing, it has "given up."

I don't even know how to revive it.

I don't know if I watered it too much or not enough.

I mean, really, who is unable to keep a cactus alive????

All you have to do is NOT water it,

but I can't help myself, it looks thirsty. . . .

Hmmm, I think I should not be allowed to own plants!

The finished pumpkins

And, I must mention I don't have a picture of Josh's,

he was still carving with the drill. . . : )

Costume Party

Jason and I went to a costume party on Saturday

as the "special forces"- army and air force.

The friends that went with us went as salt and pepper.

We drove in a road rally against 8 other teams

and we WON!

Beautiful Roses

I am so excited!!!!!

Look what my wonderful husband brought me today!

He is SOOOOOOOO cool!

Aren't they beautiful?

This is my very good friend Sarah who is going to

be in Burkina Faso as a short-term missionary

in January.

I am really excited for her!

Flying a Cessna

Jason got to fly a cessna plane on Saturday. It was an introductory flight for the flight school they have at a local airport. It was a pretty windy day, so it was a little hard to fly, but he said he enjoyed it. I would have a ton of pictures of the event, however, on the way into the building, I dropped my camera and broke it! I was so upset! So, as I cannot live without a camera, I went today to get a new one. Jason is thinking about getting a pilot's license. He isn't sure yet if the cost is worth it, so it is something we are talking over.

Prison Break

Jason and I are halfway through season 2 of prison break. That is one intense series! Anybody out there fans of prison break? I don't think you can start watching it and not finish it!

my preceptor on T2.

She is due November 11th.

Going Back to School

I am really excited- I am planning on going back to school next September.
I am in the process of registering for a master of arts in mental health counselling from Lancaster Bible College. The classes look so interesting. I would then be able to counsel at my church and lead support groups. I am especially interested in grief counselling and counselling for depression. I hope everything falls into place. I am praying that if the Lord wants me to pursue this that everything will work out. It will be hard working full-time and going to school, and it will be straining financially too, but I really feel like I should do this. What an exciting journey life is . . .

New Running Shoes

I have started really picking up on running,

so it was time for new shoes.

I am not the biggest fan on pink,

but I think these look pretty cool!

I LOVE AUTUMN!!!

Jason's Baseball Derby

Jason got to drive in a derby on a baseball diamond.

They were trying to destroy the field because they

were putting in a new field.

Unfortunately, he got hung up on one of the concrete barriers.

He got hit pretty hard on the left front fender.

You can see all the way to the radiator.Above is the baseball diamond where they drove in the derby.

It was only a mud pit when they were done with it.
Here are all the fans! : )
