Theology 101 . . . : )
So, I am taking an intro to Theology course and I just read something very thought provoking in my textbook:
The meaning of human freedom:
"I am free to choose among various options. But my choice will be influenced by who I am. Therefore, my freedom must be understood as my ability to choose among options in light of who I am. And who I am is a result of God's decision and activity. God is in control of all the circumstances that bear upon my situation in life. Through all the factors that have come into my experience in time past he has influenced the type of person I now am."
If you follow that thought out, although we have a "choice" God has created us the way He has, allowed situations to influence us in certain ways, so that we will most likely choose a specific path. . . . so do we actually have a choice? Hmmm. . . .
Any thoughts?

Long time
Wow, it has been a long time since I posted on here. I didn't realize how long until I saw the date from my last post. So here is what has been up. . . I started a new job in an outpatient surgical unit at York Hospital. I absolutely LOVE it. I work with a good friend now (Emily) and it is so fun working with her. I love the hours, the staff, and the patients. I am so grateful to the Lord for providing me with this job!!!!!
I have totally finished two classes at LBC: Biblical Hermeneutics and Old Testament Survey. I am currently in the last week of my New Testament Survey Class and in the first week of my Theology class. I am learning a lot. I am excited to start counseling classes in September, but also I will really enjoy having some time off over the summer.
I have a season pass to Hershey Park this year so I am really looking forward to that over the summer. I went up with my friend Andrea this past Sunday and it was a blast. We rode every roller coaster and some twice, and one of them three times. If you ever get a chance to go to Hershey Park, you have to go on Stormrunner. . . it is AWESOME!!!!! The new rollercoaster (Fahrenheit) opens May 24th, so that should be a lot of fun too.
I am also hoping to play volleyball with my church team this summer. I went last week and it was so much fun. I really miss playing team sports, so hopefully that will work out for me to go most of the summer.
Jason is doing great. He stays busy with work and lots of side projects. Derby season is upon us so we will soon start doing that on weekends. There will be lots of fun pictures to post then. I don't have much to post right now, because I mostly have just been working and studying. Maybe I should take a picture of the disaster of a study area that I am trying to do my theology project in. : )
Anyway, that is what has been going on. I will post again soon!
