My first derby win!!!!

I WON MY FIRST DERBY!!!!!
This is the ford tempo that brought home the win.
We call it "the bug car"
Do you like Jason's artistry?

Here are the "after" photos.

Notice the passenger door is caved in. . that was a hard hit!

The Poseys bought me a cool cake, can you read it?

The flowers are from them as well, they are such good friends!

Demo Derby- Jason

Here is Jason's car.
I actually don't know what kind of car this is.
Jason didn't even have a front bumper. . .
and still got second place!
He is such a good driver!!!
Check out the car after he was done with it. . .

NYC trip with Tina

The NYC Olive Garden- not like the ones I'm used to! : )
M&M's World- I love this store
Hard Rock Cafe NYC- this is where we went for lunch.
Tina and I at Hard Rock.
We went from there to Majestic Theatre
to watch Phantom of the Opera.
It was amazing!
I had such a good time.

My new job

Well, I have finished my first two weeks on the cardiac unit.
It is pretty intense, but I really like it and I am learning so much.
Above are all the books and pamphlets I have to go through
during my orientation.
It is so much information, but it is really interesting.
The people I work with are really nice,
and are so willing to help me learn.
I have a great preceptor, her name is Danielle,
and she is so patient with me!

New closet?

Okay, I need some help.
Our bedroom is L-shaped.
The picture above shows the "bottom" of the L.
The doors on the left are the current closet.
I have always wanted a walk in closet.
So, I want to wall off this whole area and make it a walk-in.
The current closet would be opened up and part of the walk-in,
and then there would be shelves on both sides.
So, here is my question,
will it be strange to have a window at the back of the closet?
Have you ever seen that?
My plan is to work my dresser into the closet,
and build shelves around it.
The hope chest could stay or be moved.
Any suggestions would be great! : )
Below is another angle. . .

Sarah Posey and the cat

Sarah and Tommy

Sunroom windows

These are the windows we got for our sunroom.
We are going to build it in the spring.
We got eight windows,
and they are 50" wide and 6'10" tall.
They are laying sideways here.
I can't wait, they will make a beautiful sunroom!!!
