Posey Pool

Our friends the Poseys just put this pool up about a month ago.
During the night, the liner ripped along the seam
and the pool slowly drained out all night.
These are some pictures of the pool.
Thankfully, their house is above the pool,
so there was no water damage to their house.

Here is a picture of the outside where the siding washed away.

Demo Derby

Above is the before picture.
Demolition derby in Chambersburg, PA
on August 25th, 2007.
Below are the after pics!

Jason won his heat and took third place in the feature.

A study of Hebrews

I am starting a new study with Sarah and Christy, two girls from my church.
It is called 'Holding Out for a Hero: A New Look at Hebrews.'
I am really looking forward to it, it looks like a really good Bible study.

Wedding flowers

These are our flowers from our wedding. I just thought this was a neat picture.

The Ladybug bracelet

Jason and I went to Cheeseburger in Paradise again last night for dinner. They had a lady coming around doing balloon animals, so Jason had her make this one for me. Pretty cool, huh?
I sadly confess that after dinner we went to see the Simpon's movie. Jason has been wanting to see it, and although I am not a Simpson's fan, I will admit it was pretty funny.
So that was our Saturday night date!

The alligators of Lake Tobias

My wonderful friend Annie and I went to Lake Tobias (a wildlife park)
with her two children today.
We got to see a lot of neat animals.
I thought the sign above was appropriate if you look at the picture below.

A Tale of Two Cats

Pictured above is Nikki.
Jason's dad brought Nikki back from Nicarauga (sp?)
when he was stationed there in the national guard.
His dad lived with us for a short time,
and when he left, he left Nikki with us.
Pictured below is Tommy.
Very original, right? Tommy the Tomcat! : )
He started hanging around to test Nikki's food for her,
and now, he's sort of part of the family.
He is very friendly and cuddly-
more so than our officially owned cat!
So there is the tale of our two cats. . .
and yes, they look A LOT alike.
The only difference really is the white on Tommy's nose.

New Boat shelf

So, I collect boats, and Jason put these two shelves up for me before for my collection.
I outgrew them, so last night, he put up a square set of shelves pictured below.
I love my new shelves! : )
