WEEK OFF

I am so excited, I have half an hour and then I have a week off. I am so excited to get stuff done around my house and get ahead on schoolwork as well as catch up with friends!!!! What a great week ahead of me, I really hope it doesn't go too fast!

Disappointed

I am very disappointed. . . Jason and I had been going to a small group from our church. With my work schedule, we were only able to go to every other one which ended up being about once a month. With stuff coming up this spring there were going to be whole months where I wouldn't be able to go. I am pretty much an all or nothing person so it was just too frustrating to me to be missing all the time. So this past Sunday I told our group leader that we were going to have to step down for now. It is frustrating for me that my work schedule makes it very hard to make my life somewhat predictable. It is also frustrating that the first thing I had to cut out was a Bible study group. I honestly don't know if I did the right thing or not.

Biblical Hermeneutics

Well, my second class of Biblical Hermeneutics is tonight. I really enjoyed last week and I am learning a lot already. This is only a four week class and then I take Old Testament Survey. That one should be really good too.

Well, it looks as if I am "good to go." I will be starting classes in January. I still have to go through a candidacy process, but I need to find out more information about that. They gave me some paperwork to go through for that. So, I think I am going to get very busy!

School update

Well, I have my interview on Friday Dec 21st with the department head for the master of arts program at LBC. This is the last step in the process to being accepted into the program. If the interview goes well on Friday, I should be starting Biblical Hermeneutics on Monday, January 14th, 2008. It is crazy, it is coming so fast. I am excited to get started though. I feel like I will learn so much about the Bible.
